Watercolor Easter Eggs
In this Easter activity, we will show you how to create beautiful watercolor Easter eggs using the watercolor transfer technique with aluminum foil.
This easy craft is perfect for spending time with children, developing their creativity and dexterity. The kids will create unique colored eggs with a tie-dye effect.
Moreover, it will allow little ones to unleash their imagination by coming up with lovely color combinations.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity, you will need:
- cardboard eggs
- aluminum foil
- thick-tipped markers
- a water reserve brush
- a black marker
Step 1
Cut a piece of aluminum larger than the cardboard egg and color it randomly with markers.
Step 2
Fill a water brush and then mix the colors together on the aluminum foil.
This blend of colors will create a stunning watercolor / tie-dye effect.
Step 3
Apply the shape onto the aluminum and gently press to transfer the colors.
Step 4
Remove the cardboard shape and then let the ink dry for a few minutes.
Step 5
Then decorate your egg with some patterns to create a lovely Easter egg.
