How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make this activity you need:
- a large polystyrene egg (12 cm)
- a polystyrene disc
- green acrylic paint and a paintbrush
- flower sequins
- pins
- a fabric bow
- adhesive lace
- a skewer
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Paint the polystyrene disc with green acrylic paint and then let it dry for about 45 minutes.
Step 2
Insert a skewer into the egg, adjust with a pair of scissors, and then insert the whole assembly into the polystyrene disk.
Step 3
Pin flower sequins onto the egg with pins to decorate the egg in an elegant way.
Notes: Count approximately 100 sequins for one egg to achieve a result similar to that in the photo.
As the metal pins are sharp, we recommend adult supervision during this activity.
Step 4
Cut the base with adhesive lace.
Step 5
Pin a fabric bow on top of the egg using a pin to add an elegant touch to your creation.
