How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
For this activity, you will need:
- a round wooden base (Ø 8.5 cm)
- a polystyrene egg (6 cm)
- a paper maché eggshell
- acrylic paint (yellow, green, white)
- a paintbrush
- round rhinestone stickers
- ladybug stickers
- a fabric bow
- 2 movable eyes Ø 1 cm
- a planting beak
- strong white glue
Step 1
Paint the different elements with acrylic paint:
- the egg in yellow
- the round base in green
- the shell in white
Tip: Stick the egg on a skewer to make it easier to paint and allow it to dry.
Step 2
Decorate the eggshell with gem stickers and then glue it onto the wooden base with strong white glue.
Step 3
Decorate the egg with a planting nozzle, 2 googly eyes, and a pretty fabric bow to bring the little chick to life.<\/p>
Step 4
Cut the wooden stick to leave about 2 cm of stem below the chick, then place the chick in the shell.
Step 5
Decorate the base with ladybug stickers and round gem stickers.
