Flower Easter Baskets
Discover an easy Easter activity where children will assemble and then decorate small baskets using flowers, buttons, and pretty ribbons. They will also enjoy decorating plastic eggs to create beautiful filled baskets!
Convenient for younger children, the baskets assemble without the need for glue!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a basket you will need:
- A colored strong cardboard basket
- 10 fabric flowers
- Plastic eggs
- Decorative adhesive tape (fabric tape)
- 10 colored plastic buttons
- Yellow crinkle grass
- Permanent markers
- Glue dots
- A pair of scissors
Step 1:
Gently detach the basket from its paper support.
Mark the folds along the lines.
Step 2:
To assemble the basket, slide the side tabs into the slots from the outside.
Step 3:
Detach the handle and fold the ends following the lines.
Step 4:
Slide the basket handle into the slots located on the larger sides.
Step 5:
Glue decorative adhesive fabric all around the basket and on the handle.
Step 6:
Use glue dots to attach fabric flowers to all 4 sides of the basket.
Step 7:
Then glue a colored button in the center of each flower.
Step 8:
Fill the basket with yellow paper frills.
Step 9:
Decorate white plastic eggs with permanent markers by varying the colors and patterns.
Step 10 :
All you have to do now is place your eggs in the basket.
