How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
For this activity, you will need:
- white cardboard eggs (12 cm)
- patterned cardstock (A4 size)
- Easter stickers
- googly eyes
- markers
- a fine tip black marker
- colored feathers
- small fabric bows
- a cardboard base
- a pair of scissors
- adhesive dots
Step 1
Using a yellow marker, draw the broken shell on the white cardboard egg and then color the upper part of the egg in yellow.
With a fine black marker, trace the outlines of the broken shell to emphasize the whole design.
Step 2
Stick two eye stickers and then draw the chick's beak with an orange marker.
Step 3
Stick a "Happy Easter" sticker on the chick's shell.
Step 4
Cut a patterned cardstock into 4 pieces and then stick the chick in the center using adhesive dots.
Step 5
Stick a pretty colored bow on the chick's head using an adhesive dot.
Step 6
Select 2 yellow feathers, cut the calamus (hollow stem), and then slide the feathers under the cardboard egg to create the chick's wings.
If necessary, stick the feathers with adhesive dots.
Step 7
Practice: to display the children’s artwork, you can use our cardboard supports to glue to the back of their creations!
