Flower of Love

Here is the list of materials needed to make a stemmed heart:

- Assorted colored cardstock (220 or 300 g/m²)

- Assorted colored square sheets 20 x 20 cm (70 g/m²)

- Wooden sticks - length 30 cm

- Paper glue

- Pencil

- Scissors

- Colored ribbons

Cut a square sheet measuring 20 cm (70 gr/m²) in half to obtain two rectangles of 10 x 20 cm.

Fold one of the rectangles in half lengthwise.

While keeping the sheet folded in half, cut it as shown in the picture on the side.

Once the cutting is done, you should obtain this shape.

Fold the sheet in an accordion style with intervals of about 0.5 to 1 cm.

Gather the folds together and then fold everything in half to form a heart.

Glue the two inner parts together to secure the heart.

Here is the result obtained at this stage.

Place the 3D heart on a colored sheet (300 g/m²) and then draw a heart around it, leaving a margin of about 1 cm.

Tip: We use the corner of the pink sheet to achieve a symmetrical and even heart.

Once the outline is done, cut out the heart.

Apply glue to one side of the 3D heart and then stick it onto the previously cut-out heart.

We are almost finished!

Place the whole set on another colored sheet and trace a heart, leaving a margin of about 1 cm again.

You now have 3 hearts of decreasing sizes.

Apply glue to the back of the medium-sized heart and then stick it to the center of the larger heart, making sure to place the wooden stick between the two parts.

Allow to dry for a few minutes.

Cut a piece of ribbon about 45 cm long and tie a nice bow around the wooden stick.

Your heart is now ready to be given.

Decor idea: stick small adhesive rhinestones all around the largest heart.
