Fox with Drawing Ink

To do this activity, you will need:

- A "fox" template to print

- A sheet of diffusion paper (A4 size)

- Drawing ink + a brush

- A pipette

- A spray bottle

- Water

- A glue stick

- A black permanent marker

- A pair of scissors

- A printer

Using a pipette, drop yellow ink in various places on the blotting paper.

Tip: To avoid any mess, place a tablecloth or cardboard under the sheet of blotting paper.

Tint the sheet with another color of ink; here we used orange.

Fill a spray bottle with water. Then spray the sheet over its entire surface.

This will allow the inks to spread into the paper, creating nice color blends.

You can also use a brush in addition to further blend the colors if you wish.

Then let dry for 2 hours.

Print the fox by clicking on "Printable model" below the main photo located at the top of this page.

Fill the different parts of the fox with repeated shapes using a permanent black marker. 

The children will be able to draw the shapes and patterns of their choice, there are no rules for Zentangle.

Cut out the fox while keeping the contours.

Once the colored background is dry, glue the fox with a glue stick.

Finally, each child will be able to personalize their artwork with their name!
