For Halloween, make funny monsters with children using wooden ice cream sticks, yarn, paint, and a few accessories. This easy craft will allow kids to create characters while letting their imagination run wild.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Etape 1.
To make a funny monster, you will need:
- 8 wooden sticks (length: 11.4 cm)
- acrylic paint and a brush
- yarn
- 2 googly eyes
- a chenille
- colored cardstock
- a pair of scissors
- a tube of strong white glue
- double-sided adhesive tape
Etape 2.
Align 7 wooden sticks and then glue an eighth stick diagonally with strong white glue.
Allow the glue to dry for about an hour.
Etape 3.
Paint the sticks with acrylic paint and let them dry for about 15 minutes.
Etape 4.
To make the monster's hair, cut about 30 pieces of yarn, each 8 cm long.
Etape 5.
Stick double-sided tape at the top of the sticks and then attach the pieces of yarn.
Etape 6.
To decorate your monster:
- stick on 2 googly eyes using strong white glue
- cut 2 small pieces of chenille and stick them above the eyes with strong white glue to create silly eyebrows
- cut the nose and mouth of the monster from colored cardstock and stick them on with strong white glue
Etape 7.
Mix the colors to create an army of funny little monsters in sticks!
