Glowing Halloween Pumpkin
In this activity, children will create a beautiful glowing pumpkin to decorate the home on Halloween night.
They will use a plastic globe to decorate with tissue paper and will make a lovely base with a wooden log and floral foam. An easy craft for an impressive result once the night falls !

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
For this activity you will need:
- a transparent plastic globe
- orange tissue paper
- glue varnish and a brush
- a pair of scissors
- a pencil
- a strong black card
- a green caterpillar
- a wooden log (Ø 10 cm)
- moss
- a glue gun
- an electric candle
Step 1
Cut about thirty squares of orange tissue paper (approximately 4 x 4 cm) and glue them onto the globe using glue varnish.
Step 2
Close the globe's lid and then glue the whole assembly to the center of a wooden log using a glue gun.
Step 3
Glue floral foam around the globe using the glue gun.
Step 4
Draw the elements of the pumpkin's "face" (eyes, nose, mouth) on a sturdy black card.
Cut out and then glue the elements onto the globe to bring the pumpkin to life.
Step 5
Cut a green caterpillar in half and then wrap it around a pencil.
Step 6
Remove the chenille from the pencil and then glue it to the top of the globe to create the pumpkin's tail.
Step 7
Unscrew the lid and then insert an LED candle inside the globe.
