Decorate this lovely heart-shaped paperweight with glass paint. Create the outlines of the design with dimensional paint, then add color by filling in each area with glass paint.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Step 2
Wash the paperweight with soapy water, and dry it with a towel or cloth.
This step allows the paint to adhere well to the glass.
Step 3
Place the glass heart on the model, and using the black relief outline, draw the contours of the design on the paperweight.
Let it dry for about 20 minutes.
Step 4
Once the raised outline is dry, fill each area with glass paint.
Tip: Start by coloring the center of the drawing, then finish with the edges.
Place in the oven for 30 minutes at 160°C. The colors will look more vibrant after baking, and the paint will be more resistant to washing.
