Decorated Magnetic Memo Frame with Rhinestones
In this new activity, we will create a beautiful frame using wooden sticks, pretty patterned papers, and colorful rhinestones.
We will also add magnetic tape behind the frame so it can be hung on the fridge!
An easy creative activity full of color that children can carry out from the age of 5.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make this frame / magnetic memo you will need:
- 4 large wooden sticks (15 cm)
- a clothes peg (4.5 cm)
- wood glue
- patterned cardstock
- matching rhinestones
- adhesive magnetic strip
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Form a square with 4 sticks and then glue them together to create the frame structure.
Attach a small clothespin at the top of the frame to hang your photos or notes.
Let the glue dry for about 30 minutes.
Step 2
Cut a square to the frame's dimensions from a sturdy patterned card and then glue it to the back of the frame.
Step 3
Glue 2 magnetic strips to the back of the frame so that it can be hung later on your fridge or any other metallic surface.
Step 4
Decorate the frame by gluing on pretty colored rhinestones.
Step 5
Clip a nice photo to the center of the frame using the small wooden clothespin.
