Heart Keychain for Father's Day

To make this keychain, you will need:

- a heart keychain

- round wooden beads

- scraps of leather

- polyester cord Ø 1 mm

- screw fasteners

- natural Kraft paper - A4 size

- fine-tipped markers

- a pencil

- a multi-material hole punch

- a pair of scissors

To begin, cut a strip measuring approximately 18 cm x 2 cm from a scrap of leather.

Fold the strip in half, leaving a small tab to pass the keychain through, like this.

Fold the small leather tab and then make a hole through the three layers of leather.

If this is too difficult, you can drill through one layer at a time.

Insert the upper part of the screw into the hole and then tighten it with the lower part.

Remove the central part of the heart keychain, place it on a sheet of kraft paper, and then draw around the outline.

Cut out the heart following the outline.

Write a short sentence with a fine-tip marker. Here, we opted for the message: "For my DAD!".

Place the heart inside the plastic keyring and then close it.

Cut a piece of cord (Ø 1 mm) 30 cm long, fold it in half, and then create a loop as shown in the photo.

Finally, thread wooden disc beads onto both pieces of the cord, then secure everything with a double knot.

All that's left is to add the key!
