Make a Mask with a Paper Plate
For carnival, create masks using paper plates and a bit of paint!
An easy and fun activity that kids will love.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Etape 1.
To make these masks, you will need:
- cardboard plates (Ø 21 cm)
- a pair of scissors
- a craft knife
- acrylic paint and a paintbrush
- pom-poms
- cutting and gluing paper
- large wooden sticks (length: 15.5 cm)
- strong white glue or a glue gun
Etape 2.
Cut a plate in half with a pair of scissors.
Etape 3.
Using a craft knife, make 1 or 2 holes in the plate (depending on the type of mask chosen) for the eyes.
Etape 4.
Then decorate the mask according to your imagination using acrylic paint and by gluing various elements on it (paper, pipe cleaners, rhinestones, ...)
Etape 5.
Decorate a large wooden stick with acrylic paint, then glue it inside the mask with a hot glue gun to create a hand mask.
