In this activity, we will show you how to easily decorate a bud vase to create a lovely gift that children can proudly give for Mother's Day.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To create this lovely gift, you will need:
- a wooden vase
- acrylic paint and a brush
- adhesive lace
- rubber flower stickers
- long pom-poms
- strong white glue (to secure everything together)
Step 1
Paint the four wooden parts of the vase holder with acrylic paint and let it dry for about 30 minutes.
Color advice: use "raspberry sorbet" or "parma" paint.
Step 2
Assemble the 4 parts of the flower holder as shown in the photo.
Tip: Apply a small bead of glue at the intersections to strengthen the overall structure.
Step 3
Stick adhesive lace at the base of the vase.
Step 4
Decorate the outer faces with flower stickers.
Step 5
Place the plastic vase in the hole of the wooden structure.
Step 6
Attach pom poms around the vase to add a beautiful touch of color.
Step 7
Practical! The cap of the vase is pierced to allow you to slide in a pretty flower for Mother's Day.
