For Mother's Day, children will enjoy creating a lovely pot filled with glittery hearts!
An easy activity to craft a cute and colorful gift that will delight moms.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
For this activity, you will need:
- a small terracotta pot (Ø 6 or 7 cm)
- a round wooden base (Ø 8.5 cm)
- solid tempera paint sticks
- white adhesive lace
- petal stickers
- heart stickers
- colorful wooden sticks
- adhesive wooden ladybugs
- modeling clay
- a glue gun
Step 1
Decorate the round wooden base with a solid poster paint stick (light green or dark green).
Step 2
Decorate the terracotta pot with white adhesive lace and petal stickers.
Step 3
Glue the jar onto the wooden support using a hot glue gun.
Step 4
Decorate the round support with glittery adhesive letters and small wooden ladybugs.
Step 5
Stick the first sticker to the end of a wooden stick, flip it over, and then stick a second sticker in perfect symmetry.
Make about 6 hearts on sticks.
Step 6
Place a small ball of white modeling clay (about 80 grams) in the terracotta pot and gently tamp it down.
Step 7
Insert the hearts into the modeling dough.
Trim the stems with a pair of scissors if necessary.
