PAPA / MAMA Keychain

To make a keychain, you will need:

- a colored metal ring

- white elastic thread

- wooden beads PAPA / MAMAN

- plastic cube beads

- wooden round beads

- a pair of scissors

- a skewer

- a sorting tray

Place the beads and rings in a sorting tray to make the activity easier for the children.

Cut a piece of elastic thread about 40 cm long, fold it in half, and then thread the folded part of the thread through the ring.

Then pass the two ends of the thread through the formed loop and tighten.

String one or two colored cubic beads onto the two pieces of elastic thread.

Then add the wooden beads to spell the word DAD or MOM.

Separate the strings into 2 and thread about 12 beads onto each piece of string.

Here, we followed this order:

- one colored cube bead

- one colored rondelle bead

- one white cube bead

- one colored rondelle bead

- one colored cube bead

- one colored rondelle bead

- one white cube bead

...

Tips: Sometimes the hole in wooden rondelle beads may be slightly blocked. To clear it, simply push the tip of a wooden skewer into the bead's hole to "unclog" it.

Tie a double knot with the two pieces of elastic thread and then cut the excess thread.
