How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity, you will need:
wooden keychains (oval, round, rectangular)
small wooden letters
solid tempera paint sticks
masking tape
a black marker
liquid white glue
a pair of scissors
Step 1
Place a piece of masking tape on the keychain to cover the upper half.
The masking tape will create a clean line between the colored area and the wooden area.
Step 2
Color the "lower" part of the keychain with a solid gouache stick.
Practical: the solid gouache dries in just a few minutes!
Step 3
Remove the masking tape.
Step 4
Glue a wooden letter that corresponds to the first letter of the child's name or the person who will receive the keychain.
Let the glue dry for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Color the wooden letter with a black marker.
The contrast between the pastel colors and the black will look stunning!
Step 6
Glue a holographic tape around the keychain for a nice finish.
Cut off the excess with a pair of scissors.
