How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a personalized keychain, you will need:
- nylon thread Ø 0.25 mm
- alphabet beads
- cracked glass beads
- gold metal beads
- a colored pom-pom with a ring
- a metal ring (or clasp)
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Cut a piece of nylon thread (Ø 0.25 mm) approximately 60 cm long.
Fold the thread in half and then pass it (at the fold) through the ring of the colored pompom. Next, thread the two ends of the thread through the loop and tighten it to attach it to the pompom.
Step 2
String 2 golden metal beads onto the 2 pieces of thread.
Step 3
String beads to write a name (or other word) to personalize the keychain.
Step 4
Thread 2 more golden metal beads onto the 2 pieces of thread.
Step 5
Thread 7 colored glass beads onto each piece of wire.
Step 6
Place the metal ring (or carabiner) on one of the two pieces of wire.
Step 7
Make a triple knot, pulling tight to close the keychain.
Cut the excess thread with a pair of scissors.
