How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To complete this activity, you will need:
- a wooden tree
- a wooden log (Ø 7 to 9 cm)
- brown paint and a brush
- 4.5 cm wooden clothespins
- wooden hearts
- photos of each family member (ID photo size)
- a glue gun
- a ballpoint pen
Step 1:
Paint the wooden tree with brown paint
Then let it dry for 20 to 30 minutes.
Step 2:
On wooden hearts, write the names of family members.
Here we have used the larger hearts for the grandparents.
Step 3:
Next, glue the hearts onto wooden clothespins using a hot glue gun.
Step 4:
Hang the family members' photos on the small clothespins.
Step 5:
Then, glue the clothespins onto the wooden tree starting with the grandparents at the top, followed by the parents, and finally the children at the bottom.
You can also decide to only include the young children.
Step 6:
Finally, glue the wooden tree onto a wooden log using a hot glue gun.
