With a little material, children will have fun creating a practical office accessory for their moms!
Combining a notepad, a pen, and a holder to keep it organized, this memo will be an ideal gift for the Mother's Day.
An easy craft that can be completed by children from the age of 3.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make this memo, you will need:
- a wooden base (12.5 x 8.5 cm)
- gouache paints
- a notepad
- 4 wooden rings (Ø 4 cm)
- small wooden ladybugs
- a customizable pen
- message stickers
- a tube of strong white glue
- a repositionable glue roller
Step 1
Paint the wooden surface using a solid gouache stick.
Practical: the solid gouache is very opaque and dries almost instantly!
Step 2
Glue 4 wooden rings to the top left corner of the wooden support to create a base for the pen.
Step 3
Stick a notepad to the wooden base using a repositionable glue roller.
The repositionable glue will hold the notepad securely in place while allowing for replacement without damaging the wooden base once it is used up!
Step 4
Decorate the memo with small adhesive wooden ladybugs.
Tip: For a stronger bond, remove the adhesive dot from the ladybugs and attach them using a dot of white glue.
Step 5
Dismantle the custom pen and then stick a sticker on the white body of the pen.
Note: you can also use the paper insert to personalize the pen with a nice drawing.
Step 6
Practical, the wooden rings will allow you to store the pen on the memo so that it is always at hand for writing notes!
