This technique will allow children to leave their mark on paper by creating charming drawings and writing messages of love. A creative original idea to make a personalized Mother's Day card!

They can also give them as cards to celebrate love during the Mother's Day, Father's Day, grandmothers, grandfathers.

Materials

To create a heart print, you will need:

- a white PVC tray
- gouache
- cotton swabs
- foam brushes
- A4 sheets of paper
- a pair of scissors

Step 1

Start by applying a thin layer of gouache on the PVC plate using a foam brush.

Tip: make sure not to use too much paint to avoid it spreading everywhere during step 4.

Step 2

Draw the patterns and messages of your choice using cotton swabs. For written messages, make sure to write them in reverse so they appear correctly once printed.

Here we opted for a "I love you" surrounded by hearts.

Step 3

Cut the sheet of paper by reducing it by 1cm on each side (width and length) so that it fits easily into the tray.

Step 4

Place the cut sheet of paper in the tray. Then gently press down on the sheet to print the drawings onto it.

Tip: Make sure not to spread the paint too much under the sheet, or you risk smudging your drawings.
