How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Step 1
Cut the mirror with a 11 cm diamond. Then glue the mirror onto the pierced round wooden board.
Step 2
Prepare 20 strands of rattan, each 60 cm long, to create the border of the mirror.
Then prepare 18 strands, each 40 cm long, to make the loops on the outside of the frame.
Soak the strands in a basin of water or a bucket to soften them.
Step 3
Insert the 60 cm strands into each hole of the wooden board. Each strand should go through one hole and then come out of the next hole. Once all the strands are in place, moisten them before starting the braiding.
Step 4
Weaving the plaited border: complete details following the steps in the book "Basketry Step by Step".
Step 5
Then create the loops by following the steps from the book "Basket Weaving Step by Step" on page 53.
