Rudolphs made from corks

To make a reindeer, you will need:

- 2 corks

- 2 brown pipe cleaners, 30 cm long

- 16 plastic beads

- 2 wiggle eyes, Ø1 cm

- 2 pom-poms

- 1 ribbon

- 1 glue gun

Cut from 2 brown caterpillars of 30 cm:

- 4 pieces of 5 cm for the legs

- 1 piece of 4 cm for the neck

- 4 pieces of 5 to 6 cm for the antlers

Insert 4 pipe cleaners into the first cork to form the reindeer's legs.

Attach the 2 corks (the head and the body) using another piece of pipe cleaner.

Insert the remaining pipe cleaners into the top of the cork to form the reindeer's antlers.

TIPS : Make small holes in the corks using a toothpick, a compass point, etc., to facilitate the insertion of the pipe cleaners. To strengthen the reindeer, you can even add a dab of glue at the base of each pipe cleaner.

Thread 4 plastic beads onto the reindeer's legs and then bend the ends of the chenille stems to secure everything.

Using a glue gun, attach 2 moving eyes and a pom-pom to finish the reindeer's head. Also, glue a pom-pom to the back of the cork to represent the reindeer's tail.

You can attach the elements with a strong white glue, but the glue gun, which is very handy, allows for instant adhesion of the elements.

For a nice finish, cut a piece of ribbon about 10 cm long and stick it around the body of the reindeer using a glue gun or a piece of double-sided tape.
