How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a superhero bookmark, you will need:
- a natural wooden strip (length: 15.5 cm)
- acrylic paint and a brush
- 2 googly eyes Ø 1 cm
- a colored cardstock (300 g/m²)
- rhinestones
- strong white glue
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Paint the wooden tab with acrylic paint.

Step 2
From a sturdy 300 g/m² cardstock in your chosen color:
- cut out a triangle with a base of 10 cm and a height of 11 cm (= superhero cape)
- cut out a rectangle measuring 1.5 x 3 cm (= superhero mask)
Step 3
Using a strong white glue, attach the cape to one side of the wooden tab and the mask to the other side.
Step 4
Glue 2 mobile eyes Ø 1 cm onto the superhero mask.
Step 5
Decorate the superhero's "body" by gluing on rhinestones and then draw its face with acrylic paint.
