DIY Dreamcatchers - 2 Pieces
The dreamcatcher perpetuates a Native American legend, woven like a spider's web, with the function of filtering all dreams. The legend says that dreams pass through the web; the good dreams travel towards the feathers and come out to stay in the room. The bad dreams are trapped in the bead (or beads) situated on the web until sunrise. At the first rays of light, the bad dreams will be burned.
Originally, dreamcatchers were hung over the cribs of newborns to protect them from nightmares; moreover, the feathers, swaying with each breath, distracted the child. For boys, eagle feathers symbolizing courage and strength were attached to the circle; for girls, owl feathers, symbols of wisdom, were added. Whether as a decorative object or a symbol of beliefs, everyone interprets the dreamcatcher in their own way!
Set of 2 medium wooden dreamcatchers, matching diameters: 13 and 20 cm.
