FIMO is a polymer clay that hardens when baked. With its fine texture and ease of handling, it can be sculpted, cut, smoothed, rolled, glued, and painted to create a wide variety of shapes and patterns. The colors are mixable to create new shades. Like all modeling clays, FIMO can be worked with fingers, rolling pins, spatulas, cutters, and other modeling tools.
The essential properties of FIMO clays compared to traditional modeling clay are its strength (which it gains after baking) and its finesse, making it the ideal choice for jewelry or figurine making.
FIMO comes in several ranges: the "Soft" clays are the classic colors, the "Effect" range includes clays with specific color effects: translucent effect (which appears after baking), glitter or pearlescent effects, pastel colors, neon effect (the clays become fluorescent under blue light), and finally the "leather" which offers a leather effect with the special feature of remaining flexible even after baking.
Instructions for use:
- After modeling your object, place it on baking paper and bake it for about 30 minutes at 110°C.
- Once baking is complete, allow it to cool for 1 hour before varnishing your creation.
All FIMO clays are suitable for children aged 8 and above.
