The white Gelly Roll is one of those tools you buy for a small detail and then never put down. Its water-based pigmented gel ink is truly opaque: it doesn’t blend into the background, turn grey or become transparent. The white is clear and bright, instantly catching the eye.

Most white pens become translucent on dark backgrounds. This one has enough pigment to stand out clearly on black, kraft, coloured or tinted paper, and also over existing work: dry watercolour, ink, marker, graphite, charcoal, pastel.

Can you write over watercolour or marker?
Yes, once the surface is completely dry. This is one of its main uses in mixed media.

What if the ink stops flowing?
Scribble on scrap paper to restart the flow, or shake the pen with the tip pointing down. Always replace the cap and store the pen tip down to avoid ink breaks.
