How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make this lovely gift, you will need:
- a white ceramic mug
- transfer stickers for ceramics
- paint markers for ceramics
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Before starting the activity, it is essential to clean the mug thoroughly with water and soap for proper adhesion of the stickers and paint.
Step 2
Start by decorating the mug with a cute little message using the paint markers.
Step 3
For a permanent decoration : let the paint dry for 4 hours and then bake the mug for 90 minutes at 160°C.
Hand washing is still recommended to maintain the brightness of the colors !
Step 4
Cut out a design from a sheet, making sure to leave a small margin around the selected design.
Remove the paper backing, apply the design to the mug, and then rub firmly over the entire surface of the design.
Step 5
Gently remove the plastic film to complete the transfer of the design.
Step 6
Complete the decoration with plenty of pretty patterns (hearts, flowers, butterflies).
Step 7
Practical: transfer stickers are very durable and will withstand hundreds of hand washes without any problems!
