How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity, you need:
- a white ceramic mug
- paint markers for ceramics
- ceramic stickers
- a pair of precision scissors
Step 1
IMPORTANT : Before starting the activity, it is essential to wash the mug thoroughly with dish soap to degrease the surface.
Write a personalized message on the mug using ceramic markers.
For ideal color fixation: after this step, let the paint air dry for 4 hours and then place the mug in an oven at 160°C for 90 minutes.
Step 2
Cut out a pattern from a sheet of stickers, leaving a margin around it.
Step 3
Gently remove the protective paper, taking care not to touch the design.
Step 4
Apply the sticker on the mug and then rub with your finger for about 10 seconds to ensure it adheres well to the surface of the mug.
Carefully remove the clear plastic film from the design.
Step 5
Continue decorating the mug with other stickers to create a unique and colorful mug!
IMPORTANT: Allow the mug decorations to set for 2 days before using it. To preserve the decoration over time, opt for gentle hand washing!
