How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity, you will need:
- the printable tree template (click here)
- paint (yellow, orange, red, green)
- a plastic palette
- finger stamps
- autumn stickers
Step 1
Put some paint (yellow, orange, red, green) in the plastic palette. Place a stamp on the tip of the index finger, dip it in the paint, and then stamp it on the branches of the tree to create the foliage.
Tip: If the stamp is a bit too large for small fingers, you can add a bit of cotton or a tissue inside, or even wrap the finger with a small elastic band or a piece of masking tape. The stamp will stay securely in place, and the child will be able to stamp easily without getting messy!
Step 2
Complete the foliage of the tree using all the colors of autumn.
Tip: For more fun, you can even use all three stamps at the same time on three different fingers to work on motor skills!
Step 3
To create a beautiful picture, children can complete the tree by sticking stickers to create a stunning autumn scene filled with animals, birds, and leaves swirling in the wind.
