Materials:
To make a trumpet, you will need:
- A cardboard trumpet
- Blue, white, and red tissue paper
- Adhesive foam glitter stars
- A tube of glue
- A pair of scissors
Step 1 :
Start by cutting strips from sheets of tissue paper (4.5cm high by 15 cm wide). Then create fringes along the entire length.
Here for a trumpet, we have cut 7 strips: Three red, 2 white and two blue.
Step 2:
Using a glue stick, stick the strips onto the trumpet starting from the side opposite to the tip.
To achieve a nice effect, layer your strips as shown above.
Step 4:
Repeat step 2 until you reach the tip.
Step 5:
And finally, stick a small gold or silver glitter foam rubber star.
