Materials
To make a bead character, you will need:
- 2 pipe cleaners (length: 30 cm)
- a mix of colored wooden beads from 0.5 to 2 cm (ref. 10454)
- 1 round wooden bead Ø 2.5 cm
- 2 googly eyes Ø 8 mm
- a tube of glue
- a paint marker
Step 1
Thread some beads onto 2 pipe cleaners of 30 cm to create the body of the character.
Leave about 18 cm on the left to create the character's arms later.
Step 2
Separate the 2 pipe cleaners on the right side and thread some beads to create the character's legs.
Leave about 2.5 cm free at each end of the pipe cleaners.
Step 3
Fold the ends of the pipe cleaners over themselves to create a rounded tip.
Step 4
Thread one last bead onto the folded end and then bend the whole thing to form the character's foot.
Step 5
Repeat the same process to make the second leg.
Step 6
To make the first arm, bend the right pipe cleaner as shown in the photo next to it.
Step 7
Thread some beads and finish the arm by bending the end of the pipe cleaner.
Step 8
Create the second arm using the same technique and then point the two remaining ends of the pipe cleaners upwards.
Step 9
Thread a natural wooden bead Ø 2.5 cm onto the 2 pieces of pipe cleaner and then bend them to secure the character.
Step 10
Decorate the character's head using googly eyes Ø 8 mm and paint markers.

Customer review
Les perles ne sont pas toutes adaptées aux chenilles. Dommage
En effet, les petites perles rondes sont impossibles à enfiler ds les deux chenilles en même temps, même pour un adultes...
