Here is an easy tutorial for kids that will allow them to create a squirrel decoration in autumn colors. For this creation, to be made at school or at home, children will use natural materials such as moss, pine cones, and wooden slices!

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To carry out this activity, you will need:
- A paper plate
- Tree leaf stickers
- Wood slices
- Small pine cones
- Green moss
- Wooden scrabble letters
- A mobile eye Ø 1.2 cm
- Markers (black and brown)
- Linen thread
- White glue
- A wooden pencil
- A mini hole punch
- A pair of scissors
Step 2 :
Place the squirrel on a cardboard plate and draw its outline with a pencil.
Step 3:
Using a brown marker, color the squirrel while leaving a blank space for the inside of its ear, no need to color the tail
Step 4:
Color the nose with a black marker.
Step 5:
Apply white glue over the entire surface of the tail, then place wood strips.
Overlap some strips to avoid gaps.
Step 6:
Glue a small pine cone onto the squirrel's hands.
Step 7:
Glue a mobile eye Ø 1.2 cm.
Step 8:
Glue green moss under the squirrel.
Step 9:
Decorate the edge of the plate with scrabble letters by writing the word "Autumn" or a first name, for example.
Step 10:
Make a hole at the top of the plate and then thread a piece of natural linen string so that it can be hung.
Step 11:
Stick tree leaf stickers around the edge of the plate.
