How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity, you will need:
- a colored balloon
- a sturdy paper hat
- a white cardboard bowl
- a bow tie sticker
- large round stickers
- round stickers
- 2 googly eyes (Ø 2.5 cm)
- pink curly paper
- double-sided tape
Step 1
Inflate a balloon in your chosen color. This will serve as the clown's head.
Step 2
Turn the bowl over and stick a piece of double-sided tape over the entire surface.
Step 3
Glue the balloon (knot facing up) onto the inverted bowl.
Stick a bow tie sticker onto the bowl.
Step 4
Assemble a colorful hat using sturdy cardstock.
Note: our hats are easy to assemble, with no glue required!
Step 5
Decorate the balloon with round stickers to create the clown's face. Stick 2 googly eyes above the stickers with adhesive tape to create the clown's eyes.
Tip: First, place the hat on the balloon to stick the stickers in the right place.
Step 6
Glue a piece of adhesive tape on each side of the hat, then attach pink paper fringing to create the clown's hair.
Step 7
Decorate the hat with round stickers and then place it on the balloon to complete your creation.
