Giant Paper Clown Shoes
In this children's activity themed around Carnival, we will learn to make giant shoes from thick paper. Add to this our clown nose or our tie to decorate with stickers and the kids will have a great clown costume!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make shoes you will need :
- a "clown shoes" template to print
- a strong white card (A4 - 300 g/m²)
- abstract art stickers
- ribbon
- red paint and a brush
- a black marker
- a pair of scissors
- a hole punch
- a cutting mat
- a pencil
- a stapler
- adhesive dots
Step 1:
Print our template by clicking here.
Using a pencil, draw the shoes on two sturdy white cards (A4 - 300 gr/m²).
Step 2:
Cut the shoes with a pair of scissors.
Step 3:
Paint the tips of the shoes with red paint.
Then let dry for 20 minutes.
Step 4:
Trace over the remaining pencil lines with a black marker.
Step 5:
With the largest head of the drill, make a hole at each location indicated on the model.
Tip: Use a cutting board to avoid damaging your work surface.
Step 6:
Thread a piece of ribbon through the holes to create a lace, then finish with a bow knot.
Step 8:
Stick abstract art stickers on the tips of the shoes to make them shine brightly.
Step 9:
To dress up the children, simply pass the shoe around the ankle and staple it.
Tip: For added stability, attach a sticky dot to the toe of the child's shoe to adhere the paper shoe.
Step 10:
To complete the costume, you can add our clown nose or our tie to decorate with stickers.
