Carrot Garland
Here’s a fun Easter activity that will entertain children and help them get reacquainted with vegetables.
The program includes assembling and cutting strips of paper to create a lovely garland.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Etape 1.
To make 4 paper carrots, you will need:
- lightweight orange cardstock 130 g/m², 25 x 35 cm (which is a 50 x 70 format cut into 4)
- lightweight green cardstock 130 g/m², 25 x 35 cm (which is a 50 x 70 format cut into 4)
- a ruler
- a pencil
- a pair of scissors
- a stapler
- a hole punch
- a piece of cord
Etape 2.
Cut out 3 strips of 25 x 2 cm from a light green card (130 g/m²).
Etape 3.
Shorten 2 of the 3 green strips by about 2 or 3 cm.
Etape 4.
Cut 2 strips of 25 x 3 cm from a lightweight orange cardstock (130g/m²).
Etape 5.
Fold the 3 green strips in half, without marking the fold to create a nice curve, placing the large green strip in the center.
Hold everything in one hand, then place an orange strip on each side as shown in the photo on the right.
Staple everything at the base to keep the paper strips together.
Etape 6.
Fold the orange paper strips down and then staple them together to create a carrot shape.
Etape 7.
Using a hole punch, make a hole of about 3 mm at the base of the carrot's tail.
The string will be passed through this hole to create the garland.
Etape 8.
Make as many carrots as you want to create a lovely Easter garland.
