How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a pretty chick, you will need:
- a large polystyrene egg (12 cm)
- a straw nest
- yellow paint and a brush
- a yellow felt pen
- feathers
- a bow tie sticker
- 2 movable eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- a planting beak
- adhesive rhinestones
- a glue gun
- a wooden skewer
Step 1
Draw the outline of the shell at the bottom of the egg using a yellow marker.
Step 2
Paint the top part of the polystyrene egg yellow.
Let it dry for about 30 minutes.
Tip: Insert the egg onto a skewer to paint without getting your fingers dirty.
Step 3
Decorate the white part of the egg with adhesive rhinestones.
Step 4
Glue a pretty bow tie to the top of the egg.
Step 5
Glue 2 large wiggle eyes and insert the beak into the polystyrene to bring the little chick to life.
Step 6
Make a hole on each side of the chick using a wooden skewer.
These holes will allow for easy insertion of the feathers to create the wings of the chick.
Step 7
Insert the feathers into the holes to create the chick's wings.
Step 8
Glue the chick into a straw nest using a hot glue gun.
