Christmas Stars with Ice Cream Sticks
Discover a simple tip for making stars with ice cream sticks.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a hanging decoration, you will need:
- 5 natural wooden craft sticks (size: 9.3 cm)
- acrylic paint and a brush
- decorative wooden shapes
- rhinestones
- about 20 cm of cord
- a glue gun
- special rhinestone glue
Step 1
Paint the 5 wooden sticks with acrylic paint.
Let them dry for about ten minutes (then paint the back of the sticks).
Step 2
To glue the sticks together, we recommend using a hot glue gun for instant adhesion.
Step 3
Glue the sticks using a hot glue gun according to the diagram on the side.
1 with 2 ; 2 with 3 ; 3 with 4 ; 4 with 5 ; 5 with 1.
The distance between adjacent points of the star is approximately 6 cm.
Step 4
Once the star is formed, decorate it by gluing on rhinestones and small decorated wooden shapes.
Step 5
There are hundreds of possible combinations to decorate these Christmas-colored stars!
...Golden version with a wooden heart in the center surrounded by red and crystal rhinestones.
Step 6
... red, green, and gold for this star adorned with another decorated wooden star.

Once your star is decorated, cut a piece of cord about 20 cm long so that you can hang it on the tree or anywhere else in the house!
