With a little string and wooden beads, we will make cute snowmen to decorate the Christmas tree!
An easy and original Christmas activity that children will love.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a snowman ornament, you will need:
- sisal twine
- red and white twine
- 3 large wooden beads Ø 4 cm
- 2 googly eyes Ø 1.2 cm
- rhinestone stickers
- a black and orange marker
- a pair of scissors
- a tube of white glue
Step 1
Cut a piece of sisal string about 60 cm long, fold it in half, and then create a loop of about 6 cm using a double knot.
Step 2
String 3 large wooden beads onto the 2 pieces of sisal cord and finish with a double knot to secure the beads.
Step 3
Glue 2 movable eyes Ø 1.2 cm onto the first wooden bead.
Step 4
Draw the nose and mouth of the snowman with markers.
Step 5
Decorate the 2 other wooden beads with rhinestone stickers.
Step 6
Cut a piece of red and white string about 20 cm long and then make a pretty knot between the first two beads.
