How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a pretty ornament for the tree you need:
- a terracotta pot (Ø 4.5 cm)
- acrylic paint and a brush
- fabric tape (adhesive fabric)
- a long colored pompon
- a wooden bead Ø 1 cm
- a fabric bow
- adhesive gel dots
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Paint the terracotta pot with acrylic paint and let it dry for about 15 minutes.
Step 2
Cut a piece of adhesive fabric measuring 15 cm and then stick it on the edge of the terracotta pot.
Step 3
Turn the pot upside down and stick a gel adhesive dot in the center of it.
Step 4
Glue a pretty fabric bow onto the adhesive gel dot.
Step 5
Thread a wooden bead Ø 1 cm onto the pompom tie.
You can use a thread to help thread the bead more easily onto the pompom. This bead will prevent the pompom from passing through the hole in the pot!
Step 6
Pass the long pom-pom through the hole in the terracotta pot.
The wooden bead previously threaded onto the pom-pom will allow the pot to be held once it is suspended in the fir tree.
