Materials
To create a hanging Santa Claus, you will need:
- 2 lace paper doilies
- a small felt hat
- skin-colored paint and a paintbrush
- 2 moving eyes Ø 1.8 cm
- a pom-pom
- a white chenille
- a Christmas crown sticker
- a black marker
- golden cord
- adhesive dots
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Stack 2 paper placemats and then fold both sides to form a "triangle", as shown in the photo.
Step 2
Paint the central area with skin-colored paint.
Step 3
Once the paint is dry, put a hat on the tip of the lace paper "triangle".
Place 2 adhesive dots on the brim of the hat, one at the front and one at the back, to stick it to the lace paper.
Step 4
Stick 2 wiggle eyes Ø 1.8 cm and a pom-pom using the adhesive dots.
Step 5
Draw a nice smile with a black marker.
Step 6
Stick a Christmas crown sticker onto the hat.
Step 7
Cut 2 small pieces of white chenille and glue them above the googly eyes with adhesive dots.
It’s a tiny detail, but adding eyebrows to this Santa Claus gives him a whole new look!
Step 8
Cut a piece of gold cord, tie it around the pom-pom on top of the hat, and make a double knot.
This way, you can hang this lovely Santa Claus in the tree!
