Cold Porcelain Recipe
Ideal dough for crafting your own jewelry: rings, brooches, hair clips... with this remarkably flexible dough, hardening in air and resembling porcelain, while being very durable...
Here is the cold porcelain recipe:
Ingredients:
- 200 g of white glue
- 100 g of cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon of oil (sunflower or other light oil)
- 1 tablespoon of white vinegar
Recipe:
Mix all ingredients in a non-stick saucepan and heat on very low until the mixture thickens and separates from the sides of the pan. Allow about 5 minutes while continually stirring.
Store in plastic wrap and in an airtight container. It lasts about 3 months.
Tip: To prevent the dough from sticking to your hands, apply a bit of hand cream (such as Nivea) on the dough before handling it.
