In this activity, children will use a bucket, stickers, paper straws, and rubber flowers to create a beautiful flower pot.
This flower pot will make a lovely decoration for the home, but it can also be given as a gift for Mother's Day!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a flower pot, you need:
- a 10 cm white metal bucket
- cardboard straws
- rubber flower stickers
- round stickers
- letter stickers (to personalize the creation)
- modeling clay (or florist foam)
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Decorate the white metal bucket with round stickers.
You can also personalize the bucket with a first name using our adhesive letters (ref. 13774).
Step 2
Layer the flower stickers by mixing the colors and then stick them onto cardboard straws.
Make 6 to 8 flowers.
Step 3
Make a ball of modeling clay and place it at the bottom of the bucket.
You can also use florist foam instead of modeling clay.
This will help us to plant the flowers in the pot.
Step 4
Plant the flowers in the pot, adjusting the stem with a pair of scissors if needed.
