Conical Snowman

To make this snowman you will need:

- a polystyrene cone (height: 18 or 25 cm)

- felt sheets (red, white, blue, orange, ...)

- 2 wiggle eyes Ø 2.5 cm

- 2 or 3 acrylic buttons

- a pom-pom

- a black permanent marker

- 2 wooden twigs (length: 10 cm)

- double-sided adhesive tape

- a pair of scissors

To make the snowman's hat, cut a 10 x 10 cm square from a sheet of felt in your chosen color.

Stick a strip of double-sided adhesive tape on one side of the square and then remove the protective paper film.

Roll the square of felt to create a cone, then secure the cone using the adhesive tape that was placed earlier.

Trim your cone with a pair of scissors by cutting the base of it.

To finish the hat, cut a strip of white felt measuring 15 cm in length and 1.5 cm in width.

Place a piece of double-sided tape along the entire length of the white felt strip, then stick it to the base of the red felt cone.

Place the hat on the polystyrene cone and then glue 2 movable eyes Ø 2.5 cm using double-sided tape.

Cut out the snowman's nose from a sheet of orange felt and then stick it on with double-sided tape.

Draw the snowman's smile by making small dots with a black permanent marker.

To make the snowman's scarf, cut a strip of felt measuring 30 cm in length and 1.5 cm in width.

Stick the felt strip around the polystyrene cone using double-sided tape.

Adjust the scarf using a pair of scissors, then "fray" the two ends of the scarf for a more realistic effect.

Stick 2 acrylic buttons on the snowman's belly with double-sided tape.

To create the arms of the snowman, insert 2 wooden twigs into the polystyrene.

Tip: apply liquid white glue into the holes formed, reposition the twigs, and let dry for a few hours to secure the twigs.

Using double-sided tape, attach a pompom to the snowman's hat to add the finishing touch.
