Harlequin with a Cardboard Roll

To create a Harlequin, you will need:

- A printable Harlequin template

- A cardboard roll

- Black, yellow, and white adhesive rubber sheets

- Triangle stickers

- Flesh-colored acrylic paint and a brush

- Movable eyes Ø 1.2 cm

- A black permanent marker

- A wooden pencil

- White glue

- A pair of scissors

- A precision cutter

To begin, paint the cardboard roll with flesh-colored acrylic paint.

Then let it dry for 15 minutes.

Print the free template by clicking on "Technical Sheet" below the main photo at the top of this page.
Then cut out the different elements.

Overlay the shapes where "black" is written on the back of a sheet of soft black rubber, then draw the outlines with a wooden pencil.
Draw the half circle twice.

Then cut out the shapes with a pair of scissors.

Repeat the operation with the shapes marked "white" and "yellow".

For the "yellow" shape, use a precision cutter to cut out the inside.

Once the cardboard roll is completely dry, stick triangle stickers on two lines, varying the colors to create a pretty mosaic.

Then glue the black foam rubber strip.

Then form a new line of triangle stickers above the foam rubber strip.  

Then glue the "yellow" shape, the white strip, and the black "mask" shape.

Now glue the two black foam rubber semi-circles on each side of the cardboard roll, then glue the edges down.

Then cut off the excess to achieve a nice hat shape.

Glue the moveable eyes Ø 1.2 cm with white glue.

And finally, cut a nice little mouth with a black permanent marker.
