How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a frame, you will need:
- a square wooden base (10 x 10 cm)
- 4 large wooden sticks (15.5 cm)
- a wooden clothespin
- solid watercolour sticks
- coloured wooden buttons
- a wooden heart
- adhesive foam letters
- string
- a pair of scissors
- a passport photo
Step 1
Decorate the square support and the 4 wooden sticks with solid poster paint.
Tip: solid poster paint is very opaque, easy to use, and dries almost instantly!
Step 2
Using wood glue, stick 2 sticks on 2 of the sides of the square base.
Step 3
Glue the 2 other sticks above the first ones to form a square as shown in the picture.
Step 4
Glue a wooden clothespin to the center of a stick, then glue a small wooden heart on top of it.
Step 5
Customize the frame by writing a word or a name using rubber adhesive letters.
Step 6
Decorate the edge of the frame by sticking on some pretty wooden buttons.
Step 7
Thread a piece of string through the clothespin's spring to hang the frame.
Add a nice photo to the clothespin to complete your creation.
