DIY Maracas
Using plastic eggs, spoons, and rice, children can easily create colorful and original maracas. This fun hands-on activity combines crafting and music!

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make maracas, you will need:
- plastic eggs to fill
- small wooden spoons
- adhesive rhinestone strips
- glitter adhesive mosaics
- nano tape
- a pair of scissors
- rice
Step 1
Pour some rice into an egg to cover the bottom.
Note: It is not necessary to put too much rice!
Step 2
Close the egg and stick 4 adhesive mosaics over the holes to seal it.
Step 3
Stick 2 pieces of nano tape into the hollow part of the spoon heads, then remove the protective film.
Step 4
Position the "tip" of the egg facing downwards, then attach the 2 spoons on each side of it.
Step 5
Glue a strip of adhesive rhinestones over the spoons and at the junction of the two parts of the egg to reinforce the instrument.
Step 6
Decorate the handles of the spoons with glittery adhesive mosaics.
