Easter Bunny Hiding His Eggs
In this Easter kids' activity, we will create a small scene representing the Easter bunny hiding his eggs!
During this activity, children will alternate between painting, pin poking, and gluing various accessories. It's an easy and fun activity that will allow children, from a very young age, to create a lovely decoration for Easter!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To create a diorama, you will need:
- a pompom rabbit
- a half polystyrene ball Ø 9.5 cm
- paper flowers
- plastic pins
- pastel polystyrene eggs
- a colored ribbon bow
- a chenille
- green paint + a brush
- a glue gun
- a pair of scissors
Step 1:
Paint a half sphere made of polystyrene Ø 9.5 cm with green acrylic paint.
Then let it dry for about 30 minutes.
Step 2:
Pin the flowers into the foam using plastic pins (safe for children), making sure to leave space at the top for the rabbit and the eggs.
Step 3:
Use a glue gun to attach a pompom bunny and polystyrene eggs.
Step 4:
Stick a bow tie on the rabbit's head using the adhesive dots provided.
Step 5:
Finally, make a scarf with a small piece of chenille by wrapping it around the rabbit's neck.
