In this children's Easter activity, create an adorable chick comfortably nestled in its little woven basket!
With a plastic egg, a mini basket, felt flowers, and stickers, little artists will bring their own chick to life. A wooden log serves as a base for a spring scene with feathers and pretty adhesive ladybugs.
A fun and easy activity, suitable for children from 3 years old, to celebrate Easter and decorate the home!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
For this activity, you will need:
- a colored plastic egg (6 cm)
- a mini basket with a woven straw effect
- a log of wood (Ø 8 to 11 cm)
- a feather
- six adhesive felt flowers
- three adhesive ladybugs
- two black eye stickers
- one triangle sticker
- a glue gun
Step 1:
To begin, create a mini basket with a woven straw effect in the center of the wooden log using a glue gun.
Step 2:
Decorate the wooden log by sticking on six self-adhesive felt flowers.
Step 3:
Transform the egg into a chick by sticking two black eye stickers and a triangle sticker to form the beak.
Step 4:
At the top of the chick, in the hole, slide in a feather to create a small crest.
Step 5:
Simply place the chick in the woven straw basket.
Step 6:
Finally, stick three adhesive ladybugs on the handle of the basket.
