How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a rabbit you will need:
- A large pine cone
- A slice of wood Ø 10 cm
- Felt
- Two movable eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- A round wooden bead Ø 2 cm
- Natural raffia
- A pompom
- Paint and a brush
- A glue gun
- A pair of scissors
Step 1:
Paint the pine cone with acrylic paint and let it dry for about 30 minutes.
Note: you may also choose not to paint it for a nice natural look!
Step 2:
Cut out the ears (about 7 cm long and 3.5 cm wide) and the legs (about 4 cm long and 3 cm wide) from a sheet of colored felt.
Step 3:
Cut the insides of the ears (about 5.5 cm long and 2 cm wide) from white felt then glue them to the center of the ears.
Step 4:
Using the glue gun, attach the ears and the felt legs to the pine cone.
Step 5:
Glue a round wooden bead Ø 2 cm at the center of the pine cone, then slide a few pieces of natural raffia inside the bead to create the rabbit's whiskers.
Étape 6 :
Glue the movable eyes Ø 2.5 cm with the glue gun.
Step 7:
Turn the pine cone over and glue a small pompom using the glue gun to create the rabbit's tail.
Step 8:
Finally, glue your bunny onto a nice round wooden slice.
